Celebration Day includes;
Training in Thailand Master Dominic, Sensei Rosanna, Alyssa and Jake, “Lavalle family” spent Christmas in Thailand training with Sinbi Muay Thai Camp “Phuket” and also at WMC Muay Thai Camp in “Samui”. Both camps have a lot of talented trainers so we enjoyed mixing it up with hard training and holidaying! A great experience for my kids Alyssa 10 and Jake 7 to train and learn Muay Thai, and see the Thai culture.

2010 Christmas Newsletter THANK YOU to all our students for training throughout the year and for your support! Reflex has had an exciting year and with more great times to come in 2011.
KIDS CHRISTMAS PARTY - Saturday 11th December 12pm to 2.30pm at Wollongong Botanic Gardens. (Murphys Avenue, Keiraville) Three awards will be announced for students of the year. Don’t miss out it will be heaps of fun. Please bring a plate of food and Reflex will provide the drinks! Everybody is invited to come along!
REFLEX GRADING - BJJ Friday November 26th. Reflex Kids Saturday 4th December. Reflex Teens and Adults Thursday 9th December. Congratulations to all students who graded at the end of last term. We are always very impressed with the standard displayed by everyone on grading day! STICK FIGHTING WORLD TITLES – 2011 in Cebu (Philippines) Students keen to come and compete please let me know soon. I’m going! And looking forward to training and bringing a Reflex team to compete for this world titles! The Dates will be confirmed soon!
NEW CLASS IN 2011 – Fight Fit /Circuit Class will be taught at our center, get great cardio and strength fitness. This Class will incorporate a mixture of rope climbing, strength rings, kettle bells, dumbbells, medicine ball and more. Build up high levels of cardio fitness; Increase your core strength and Improve explosive strength and power! (Days and Times to be confirmed). INTERCLUB TOURNAMENTS 2010 – Congratulations to all Reflex students that competed. You all did extremely well in fighting and showing your skills! CONGRATULATIONS – Pippa Stevenson on achieving a Reflex Combative Black Belt! Well done! And also congratulations to Amy Scotland, Chantel Meikle , Jason Chapman and Jo Went promoted to 1st degree black belt.

2009 WORLD STICK FIGHT CHAMPIONSHIPS Master Dominic Lavalle led a team from the Reflex Martial Arts Centre to the full contact WORLD Cacoy Stick Fight CHAMPIONSHIPS held in Cebu City Philippines, A three day competition on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of April, 2009! We have “Two World Champions stick fighter
From Reflex” Also Congratulations To VICKI HECKENBERG This was a sport Eskrima – Arnis World championships, and there were male and female categories, plus an over 40's age group division as well. Events that enable 145 competitors from various associations and backgrounds to come together to stick fight the highest level of professionalism and spirit!!! In total there were representatives from 7 countries including Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, England, America and Poland. There were a lot of experienced fighters at the world championships
and the Reflex team a total of 10 medals "The training leading up
really paid off."

STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2010 presentations at the Christmas party’s!!! This award recognises examples a student sets through attendance, effort, participation, leadership, attitude and respect for all masters, Sensei’s, students, the Reflex Center and the Arts.
