Biography:

I began my journey in 2010 at Reflex Martial Arts Centre, starting with private sessions under Master Dominic Lavalle to dive into MMA, explore various disciplines, and build my strength and fitness. It was not long before BJJ resonated deeply. Its focus on leverage, control, and intelligent problem solving pulled me in. I committed to weekly classes and never looked back. In 2025, I earned my black belt under Luke Pezzutti from Lions Den Sydney, a key step in my journey.

I have trained alongside some of the best fighters to pass through Reflex, all under the expert guidance of Master Dominic Lavalle and Master Rose Lavalle. Beyond self defence and combat skills, I have learned to apply BJJ principles to life, staying calm under pressure, adapting to challenges, and turning obstacles into opportunities.

In the last decade, I have competed in numerous Gi and No Gi BJJ tournaments, securing a silver medal at the No Gi AFBJJ NSW Championships and three bronzes in other events. I have also coached students, both kids and adults to compete in BJJ tournaments, helping them build confidence and achieve podium finishes. Plus, I have cornered fighters in MMA bouts, drawing on my experience to support them in high stakes moments. I have attended seminars with elite instructors like Grand Master Vince Palumbo (ICMA Academy), Luke Pezzutti (Lions Den Academy), and Eddie Bravo (10th Planet).

What drives me to train and teach is a deep belief in personal growth, discipline, and always being prepared. I love passing on the lessons from my experiences to help others level up their skills and lives. I am competitive at heart, thriving on pushing myself and those around me, and I am passionate about guiding people to crush their goals and celebrate wins.

Training BJJ has been a game changer for my mental health too, keeping me balanced, managing stress from everyday life, and connecting me with an amazing community of like minded people. Earning my black belt remains a huge achievement that only fires me up more to keep sharpening my BJJ, learning new things, and improving every day.

"My aim is simply to continue enjoying my learning and teaching, while helping people learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for self-defence, MMA, competition and fun."
